Rectors’ Forum on the Implementation and Effective Use of AI Technologies in Education Underway
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation is currently hosting the “Rectors’ Forum on the Application and Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Education.” This prestigious event brings together over 200 heads of higher education institutions from across the Republic, along with leading specialists and both local and international experts.
The forum was opened with keynote speeches by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
“Today, the world’s leading universities are utilizing artificial intelligence as a practical assistant for tasks such as increasing educational efficiency, analyzing student learning activities, personalizing the classroom experience, and ensuring academic integrity,” noted H. Umarova.
Minister Kongratbay Sharipov emphasized that one of the top priorities for Uzbekistan’s higher education system in this direction is to transform universities into centers of knowledge, expertise, and scientific research in the field of artificial intelligence.
